Beautiful houses/cottages/rooms. Great space to take walks. Loved the Swahili themed night, the food was delicious too. A place where people mingle with not-so-wild animals, zebras, warthogs, dik diks freely. Thank God they are harmless(hopefully). It was a pleasantly stay.

I visited this lodge last week and found the restaurant service to be both prompt and satisfactory. The variety of food offered was commendable and flavorful. Special recognition is due to Hudson who consistently checked on us and other patrons to ensure a seamless dining experience. His management skills are exemplary. Dennis provided exceptional service, he was both attentive and efficient. Overall, the staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism. I highly recommend this establishment to fellow travelers and intend to return in the near future.

Mixed emotions about this place. The welcoming juice was a nice touch. Quick check in and the room is beautiful. No air-conditioning though so it got hot after 10 am. The buffet restaurant is nice too, not at the same level as other similar price point hotels I stayed in but still, it was nice. Beautiful terrace in the room overlooking trees making it perfect for early bird watching. Internet is quite spotty. It lags and disconnects completely for over half an hour at a time despite me trying to restart all and find new connection. I had to go to reception to complete what I was doing. I asked for packed fruit instead of packed lunch for which I paid a decent amount and what I got is pieces of fruit with skin on with nothing to peel it, cut it with. What a shame that it wasn’t sorted out properly. I hate that I had to throw away some fruit as I was in the airport and no way I could carry huge mango and orange in my limited wight carry on. Such a failure for a fruit lunch. Would I stay there again, probably yes if nothing else opens. It’s a nice option as it’s away from the lake and has less mosquitoes than others closer to the lake. It’s not for tourists though. More business oriented which was fine by me.

We stayed here for 10 days in February. The resort is quite isolated, (approximately 30 minutes from Naivasha town and Lake) with its own extensive grounds, including a golf course. Accommodation is, typically, full-board, which is almost essential in view of the location. The hotel is popular with businesses and various organisations holding team-building and conferences, but we did not find this intrusive or disruptive to individual guests. The rooms/lodges are 'rustic' in style (as is the main building, and this is perfectly in-keeping with the location. The rooms are nicely equipped (shower, no baths), and beds have mosquito nets but, even in this area, we did not hear or encounter a single mosquito. There are very nice decks to sit outside and enjoy the peace of the area. Views from the upper floor rooms are stunning, overlooking the Great Rift Valley itself. The estate is a mix of manicured areas and natural scrub/bush and is perfect to enjoy walking as well as golfing. Being on full-board is no hardship at all. All meals are buffet-style (although you can also choose a la carte at dinner) and are excellent. The variety and quality of dishes on offer will suit any appetite or diet. Additionally, the buffets are regularly topped-up and food is kept piping hot. Very good indeed and undoubtedly one of the best buffets we've encountered. The golf course is excellent, and high quality. Certainly the equivalent on anything in Nairobi and further afield. Tees, greens and fairways were in first class condition. The local kikuyu grass means the fairways are lovely to walk on, and to play from, but do not give much 'bounce and roll' so the course can 'play long'. For regular players, there is a weekly golf-pass which will save you some money on green fees. There is also a good practice range. In addition to golf, there is a gorgeous heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, & volley-ball. The re is also table tennis, & air-hockey in one of the pavilions in the grounds. Star-gazing and nature walks are also provided but the excellent Daniel. Both worth doing during your stay. The real key to the success of this hotel is, as so often, the result of the quality of staff, and in that area, they excel. We probably stayed here for longer than many guests, and in that time we encountered so much friendliness and professionalism. The staff made it a pleasure to stay here and, even 10 days didn't feel sufficient.
